Finance: East Point Earns First Ever Bond Rating

East Point earns its very first bond rating under Mayor Peters’ administration. The rating will allow the city to qualify for lower interest rates on bond offers, reduced rates on the refinancing of existing bonds and will lower debt, potentially saving the city millions of dollars.


The Economy: East Point on the Rise

Mayor Jannquell Peters delivered her State of the City Address before a crowd of more than 150 residents, business leaders, organizations and East Point City staffers on February 16, 2017 at the City Annex. During the address, Mayor Peters expounded on the numerous achievements the City has made under the current administration.
