The Senate passed a $2 trillion economic rescue plan that will offer assistance to tens of millions of American households affected by the coronavirus. A
How large would the payments be?
Most adults would get $1,200, although some would get less. For every child age 16 or under, the payment would be an additional $500.
How many payments would there be?
Just one. Future bills could order up additional payments, though.
How do I know if I will get the full amount?
It depends on your income. Single adults with Social Security numbers who have an adjusted gross income of $75,000 or less would get the full amount. Married couples with no children earning $150,000 or less would receive a total of $2,400. And someone filing as head of household would get the full payment if they earn $112,500 or less.
Would I have to apply to receive a payment?
No. If the Internal Revenue Service already has your bank account information, it would transfer the money to you via direct deposit based on the recent income-tax figures it already has.
When would they arrive?
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that he expected most people to get their payments within three weeks.

Your Congressional District?
Do you know your US Representative? In Georgia, we have 14 districts and 14 U.S Representatives. With over 10 million people in this state, only ONE of our U.S Representatives is a woman! Let’s change that now.
Update: Jannquell’s Campaign for Congress
As many of you know, after serving as a child advocate attorney and Mayor and seeing the gaps that people are still sliding through, I decided to launch my campaign for Congress in early May 2019 as an exploratory committee.
After hearing your excitement, we were all in! Crunching the numbers, we planned for the usual turnout in the May 19th primary of maybe 70k voters. All of that has changed. With the dangers of the coronavirus continuing and the combined primaries, that number will increase exponentially. Things have changed quickly and our voter pool has grown by leaps and bounds. We need you help. Please spread the word. Donate securely if you can. Honestly, every bit helps.
As COVID-19 dangers increased, we suspended our district tour and have lost ground in reaching out to voters while transitioning to an a nearly all digital campaign.
Many have asked about a town hall. We ae working on setting up something that would really be helpful. Most of our last two weeks have been spent helping people connect with resources and to simply adjust. Not much direct campaigning has been involved and I am ok with that choice. I am so grateful for every person and supporter I have met along the way and every volunteer helping with the hundreds (literally) of texts and emails we are receiving.
We are in uncharted territory, but I am happy we are here together. Please check out my website (link below), share and sign up to volunteer to make calls if you can. Text 404-441-9641 if you would like a yard sign (leave your address). Leadership is everything and we see what happens when it works and when it does not.
